Why Mother Goose Cares About the Early Years and who benefits from this program? Mother Goose Cares About the Early Years uses books and early learning materials to provide a framework to better understand all the developmental areas of children from birth to 36 months. The program provides early childhood educators, and other adults who work with infants and toddlers, with the concepts and skills needed to introduce language and literacy to infants and toddlers. Those who work with children ages birth to 36 months in formal and informal educational settings will benefit from Mother Goose Cares About the Early Years. This begins a cascade of learning that reaches all of the infants and toddlers they work with, as well as the children’s families.
