The contents of the Site are protected by U.S. and international copyright laws.  All trademarks, service marks, trade names, and trade dress are proprietary to Vermont Center for the Book.  You may use, reproduce, distribute, transmit, or display any copyrighted material only within the Terms.  Derivative works may not be made.  You may download, print, and copy content of the Site for your personal (including intra-company), non-commercial use only, provided that you include all copyright and other notices contained in the content and that you do not modify the content.  Audio or visual clips must be played in their entirety.  Any other use of the Site or its contents is expressly prohibited.  You may not use the materials in a manner that suggests an association with any of our services, and you may not download quantities of materials to a database that can be used to avoid future downloads from the Site.  The use of any Site content on any other Web site or computer environment is prohibited.

Vermont Center for the Book does not allow framing of its Site.

Vermont Center for the Book expressly disclaims any responsibility for the accuracy, content, or availability of information found on sites that link to the Site.  Linking should not suggest that Vermont Center for the Book (a) promotes or endorses any third party’s causes, ideas, Web sites, products or services, or (b) authorizes use of content from the Site for any commercial purposes. Vermont Center for the Book reserves the right to withdraw permission for any link.

These Terms represent the entire understanding of the parties regarding the use of the Site and supercede any previous documents, correspondence, conversations, or other oral or written understanding related to these Terms.  These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the state of Vermont without regard to its choice of law, rules, and where applicable, the laws of the United States.  To the extent permissible by law, any disputes under these terms of use or relating to the Site shall be litigated in the District Court in and for the District of Vermont, and you hereby consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in the District of Vermont.  A modification or waiver of a part of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver or modification of any other portion of the Terms.  If for any reason any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remainder of the Terms will continue to be in full force and effect.
